Alhamdulillaah, through the efforts of the students of Qabeelat Durbah, and the will of Allaah ‘azza wa jal, our attempt at raising $20,000 for GAZA went a tad above and beyond.
The Project was renamed to:
$32,853 for GAZA

SubhanAllah, Alhumdullilah, Allahu Akbar!Tags: charity, Fundraising, gaza, preciousprovisions, tayybahWe were able to achieve our goal of 20,000 for Ghazza and by the Will of Allah swt surpass it. It was honestly amazing to see the way everyone gave so openly, people gave and gave without the fear of poverty and driven by the desire to help our Brothers and Sisters. In three days, with more than 300 students we were able to do this, and there is nothing but excuses from stopping any other Qabeelah or community from setting the same goals and achieving much better than we did.
With I also just wanted to remind everyone that Allah swt gave this opportunity to us, we were able to donate because he made it possible. And none of the volunteers, especially those who helped out with this can take credit honestly it was none of their doing. While we achieved our goal remember our Brothers and Sisters are still suffering. What good is the money we raised if the blockades won’t allow aid to get in? The death toll has risen over 850, when will this stop? Raising money is only part of the solution. Continue to make dua for our brothers and sisters and continue to give.
By the Will of Allah we were able to raise $32,853.00. And the money was given to Islamic Relief, if you visit their website you can how they allocate the money to Palestine and what has been done so far. Also AlMaghrib will be having a conference call regarding the issue in Palestine, details can be found here. PLEASE attend the call especially those who wanted to give by were not able to.
Oh Also a very huge Jazakallahu Khayrn to Qabeelat Tayybah who are not only a pleasure to host as students but contributed greatly to this project.
May Allah swt reward everyone who was a part of this project and have this aid directly benefit the people of Ghazza.

It is SO wonderful to hear this! I was hoping so much that Durbah would do something for Ghazza since their class was during a most critical time. Alhumdulillah they were a success! add this amount to the $174,000 raised from the Hikmah Iliminar and thats $206,853 for Islamic Relief from Al-Maghrib Institute with love
